Aftercaring

Maintaining a course of recovery can be difficult after the structure and support of an inpatient setting. Returning to the “every day” life of family, friends, school or work is stressful and can challenge newly developed structures of self care. This program focuses on the continuing development of a sturdy recovery program.

Protocol

  • Psychoeducation
    24-week program includes:
    • Nutrition Education and Counseling
    • The Dynamic of Creating and Maintaining Healthy Change
    • The Stress Response and Stress Management Techniques
    • Assertiveness Training and Healthy Boundary Setting
  • Individual Counsel
    • 45-minute sessions twice each week
  • Ongoing Support (additional fee)
    • 30-minute post-program sessions for as long as needed
